Very Mobile Group is an investment company with a successful track record of investing in early stage businesses, primarily those providing services in the mobile telecommunications industry.
Mr Peter Williams is Chairman and owner of the Very Mobile Group and is a member of AwayPhone’s Board of Directors. Peter has extensive involvement in the mobile industry, through Very Mobile Group and as the largest shareholder in MIG (www.migcan.com) and Esendex (www.esendex.com). Peter was the largest shareholder in Omega Logic before its sale to Euronet earlier this year. Peter is also the Chairman of RPC Group plc (www.rpc-group.com) Europe’s largest producer of rigid plastic packaging and a Director of Electra Investment Trust plc (www.electratrust.com) which specialises in venture capital and is second largest in the UK behind 3i.
He is a Director and principle shareholder in Xenos Group plc, a software company listed on the Toronto Stock Exchange and several private companies. He was formerly a Director of Reed Elseveir and Chief Executive of David S. Smith Holdings.
